Microsoft said they will release Windows Vista SP2 beta version tomorrow (October 29th) as announced in Windows Blog (Windows Vista Service Pack 2 Beta). However, this Vista SP2 beta is available to test for only some customers of Technology Adoption Program.
Windows Vista SP2 will be integrated the following enhancement:
- Bluetooth 2.1 to adopt the latest specification of Bluetooth Technology.
- Supports Blu-Ray media recording
- Improved Wi-Fi configuration with Windows Connect Now (WCN)
- Supports UTC timestamps with ex-FAT file system.
- Faster search and more relevant result with the new Windows Search 4.0. Group Policy is allowed as well.
The full version of Windows Vista SP2 is expected to be released in the first half of 2009.

Do you think the sp2 will address speed issues? Such as slow bootup time, and bootdown times?
