According to Roger Kay, founder and president of Endpoint Technologies, Nehalem Core i7 will use almost the same power consumptions as the previous processor (or lower) but will deliver a higher performance.
“Nehalem is pretty subtle because it’s a change in microarchitecture. A lot of the changes aren’t all that visible to the end user. But one of the most notable (changes) is power saving”, he says.
Generally, Nehalem Core i7 will deliver the better performance than the current Intel Processors technology while using the same power consumption.
