Google Chrome is now live!
From my first impression, the Google Chrome looks very great. The web pages loads almost the same speed as firefox (chrome maybe faster).
Home (Default)
The default home page (can be change at settings) is pretty cool, it will list your most visited pages and bookmarks.
Options Page
Basic settings page:

Imports Other Browser Settings
You can imports your previous IE and Firefox settings

Address Auto Complete
Google Chrome address autocomplete is almost similar to IE8 and Firefox 3
Developer Tools
Google Chrome is also integrated with nice developer tools, such as JavaScript Debugger, JavaScript Console and Code Inspector.

p.s: you can even highlight the code elements. make it easier for developer to identify code element within HTML.

For the speed, I tested it and it almost the same speed firefox. It explains the multithreading engine for Google Chrome is really works.

should be interesting to see if Chrome works more efficiently than FireFox and IE… if it’s faster than Firefox, since isn’t IE, then i’ll use it

I’m wondering how many users will switch from IE and FireFox to use Chrome now.

No doubt Google Chrome is really fast but I guess it is only first release. I can still see a lot of blogs.. they say in can process javascript 3 times faster compare to other browser..
I am really waiting for the nest release.. The stable one

I dont see this catching on to quick. Lacks a lot customizing options. Dont see any improvements in speed on a vista machine with 3gb ram doesnt work any better then FF in my eyes. Will be some time before its worth anything in my eyes as the community needs to start building plugins for it so it can do what FF can.
Not in a big hurry to help G take over the world by introducing new products. I say stick to what made you what you are and make it better.

after all, the current Chrome is just a beta released. it still lacks of plugin/add ons that I want to use. I even can’t install google toolbar which I used most.

using it now
no different feel. Seems more like an exact copy of FF.

I found Chrome really nice. I like minimalism. But there are no plugins for Chrome yet. Hope when addons appear Chrome can compete with FF.

chrome is awesome but I’m still too use to firefox. The incognito option is pretty bad though. I’m just waiting for it to get out of beta. Great post.

Chrome still has a bunch of kinks that they need to fix. The bright side..you don’t have to hit crtl-alt-delete as much =)

Had problems with using chrome in Oracle Apps. No different than FF. Google is earning enough money, I do not want to make them richer and stronger.
